How to get in touch with Wix Customer Care for Support?



I recently had a question about Wix Studio, so I reached out to Wix Customer Care via email and phone.

Currently, I live in New Zealand, but I wanted to make my inquiry in Japanese since it is my native language.

This article is a note explaining how to contact Wix Customer Care in Japanese from overseas. Hopefully this will help you!



Contacting Wix Customer Care for Support by Email


First, click on "Help" at the top of the Wix dashboard.

For frequently asked questions or basic usage instructions, you can often find solutions through Wix's official how-tos and tutorials.


However, since I couldn't find anyone experiencing the same issue through a search, I chose "Chat with us."

Then, it will start a chat with Nova, where you can select a topic related to your question.


After selecting the one that matches your question, you will be given the choices to either "Visit the Wix Community Forum", "Start a live chat" and "Request a callback now".


For inquiries to Wix customer care, you can reach out via email or through their forum

Since I had set my account language to Japanese, there was no option for live chat, and I could only choose to contact them via email.


This time, after emailing Wix Customer Care, I received a response in about three hours. Depending on the content and timing, getting a reply within the same day is quite pleasant!


*Please note that response times may vary, and it might take a few days to receive a reply in some cases.



Contacting Wix Customer Care for Support by phone call (callback option)


If you select the "Request a callback now", you will receive a callback from Wix Customer Care.

In my case, I got a phone call after about 10min.



10 Languages Available in Wix Customer Care

As of May 2024, Wix Customer Care supports the following 10 languages, including English:


  • Japanese: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM (Japan Time)

  • English: 24/7

  • Dutch

  • French

  • German

  • Hebrew

  • Italian

  • Portuguese

  • Spanish

  • Turkish

I had concerns about receiving support in languages other than the one spoken in the country I currently reside in.

However, when I actually used a New Zealand phone number, I was able to contact customer care in Japan.


According to the customer care staff, the language support you receive depends on the language set in your Wix account settings.


In other words, through Wix account settings > Account Language, you can change the language for inquiries and support.


However, the availability of live chat services or callback services may vary depending on the country, so it's advisable to check the details in the Wix Help Center.



If you were a multilingual wizard, you could switch the account language setting based on business hours or service availability and try making inquiries!
